Constella Festival presents Dayton Contemporary Dance Company and MamLuft&Co. Dance. Experience two new dance world premieres, video art and an art exhibition featuring Saad Ghosn and Jimi Jones. One of the featured premieres is inspired by John Coltrane’s masterpiece “Spiritual,” engaging historic African American folklore, with themes of ritual, loss, joy and power. Constella has partnered up with the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center for the opening of their Mandela: The Journey to Ubuntu exhibition featuring photographs from integral moments in Mandela’s life.
